Nursery Goobery

Yes, goobery. It's a word. Don't judge me.

Every time I go off to my message boards or spend far too much time on the internet looking at baby things I just want to drop everything and start working on the nursery. I'm trying to wait until second trimester to go off and buy stuff, but it's hard! And I want everything NOW. If I had my way, we'd have nothing left to get for the shower because the nursery would be entirely decorated. I'm not sure how I'm going to wait it out...

Troy & I will be buying the nursery furniture since it's so expensive. Crib, dresser(s), glider, bookshelves, etc. I already know the set I want, though I'm going to have to find a matching bookcase elsewhere.

Crib:

It's a convertible, so it can either grow up with the child, or if we have another baby the older child can get a "big kid bed" and we can reuse this stuff again.

Dresser(s):

The first one will have the changing pad on it, the other I'm not sure if we need but would be used for more storage and placing decorative stuff on top.

Glider:

This one isn't set in stone, I need to make sure the wood color matches. The fabric is sage, which is going to be a main color in the nursery which will be primarily sage and white/cream. We're going gender neutral, then when we find out the sex we can put girl/boy touches here and there.
